Classification:

Type species of the genus: Anchobelondira clavicauda Nair & Coomans, 1971

Morphology and Anatomy:

• Body length 2 mm
• Lip region narrow continuous with body contour; lips amalgamated
• Odontostyle slender
• Posterior parts of esophagus with a bulb-like expansion.
• Muscle bundles of esophagus sheath spiral.
• Tail bluntly rounded or slightly clavate.

Female:

• Didelphic, amphidelphic

Note: only genus in the subfamily Anchoniinae that is amphidelphic withn two functioning ovaries.)

Male:

• Dorylaimoid spicules
• Ventromedian supplements 9-13, spaced
