Classification:

Type speciesof the genus is Amphibelondira bhutanensis Rahman, Jairajpuri, Ahmad & Ahmad, 1987

Morphology and Anatomy:

• Body length 1.5 mm.
• Lip region rounded and slightly offset from body contour; lips separate.
• Odontostyle thin; odontophore simple, not flanged
• Spiral muscular sheath surrounding esophagus.
• No constriction at esophageal expansions
• Tail short, hemispherical in both sexes.

Species have been reported from India, Pakistan, and Costa Rica,

  Unknown, but other genera in the family Belondiridae are considered to be plant-feeding (Yeates et al., 1993).
