Classification:

Type species of the genus: Immanigula laeta Andrassy, 1991

Morphology and Anatomy:

• Large nematodes, 3 -3.5 mm long.
• Cuticle smooth.
• Lip region narrow, rounded, continuous with body contour. Lips amalgamated.
• Amphid apertures as wide as body.
• Odontostyle short, weak.
• Posterior expanded part of esophagus about 75% of total esophagus length.
• Prerectum long.
• Tail short, hemispheroid in both sexes.

Female:

• Monodelphic, opisthodelphic.
• Anterior uterine sac present.

Male:

• Spicules slender
• Numerous well-spaced ventromedian supplements.
