Type species of the genus: Belondirella. teres Thorne, 1964

Morphology and Anatomy:

• Body length around 1mm
• Lip region with small liplets around oral aperture
• Odontostyle thin
• Posterior expanded part of esophagus with spiral weakly-muscular sheath
• Tail cylindroid with clavate terminus.

Female:

• Didelphic, amphidelphic

Male:

• Two pairs of ventromedian supplements.
