Morphology and Anatomy

• Differs from other Belondiuridae in having alate spicules without without median pieces.

• Spicules 3.5 to 4 cloacall body-widths (68 to 72 um) long and extremely attenuated as compared with fairly stout, heavy spicules with median pieces in the other genera.

• The tail shape and vulval opening differ in Dactyluraxonchium and the characters of the odontostyle, guiding ring and oesophagus differ in Heynsaxonchium.
