Morphology and Anatomy:

Sclerostylus is distinguished from Basirotyleptus by the flanged odontophore and by the distinct and heavier sclerotization of the odontostyle and stoma.

Female:

  • Monodelphic, opisthodelphic.
  • Vulva transverse,

Males:  

  • Diorchic, testes outstretched.
  • Spicules dorylaimoid; lateral guiding pieces present.
  • Ventromedian supplements 2, well spaced.
