Morphology and Anatomy:

.

  • Small to medium nematodes, around 1 mm long.
  • Outer cuticle finely striated
  • Lip region cap-like, well offset from body contour
  • Odontostyle short and slender
  • Odontophore simple, with or without basal flanges
  • Esophageal expansion short, bulb-like, pyriform, about 25% of esophagus length.
  • Tail similar in sexes: short, rounded to conoid.

Female:

  • Didelphic-amphidelphic
  • Vulva pore-like
