Morphology and Anatomy:

Moderately slender to slender (a = 21-34) nematodes of medium length, 1.29-2.01 mm.
Body cylindrical, tapering towards both ends.
Cuticle typical tylencholaimoid, outer layer bearing fine transverse striation throughout body. Lateral chord occupying 26-38% of midbody diam.
Lip region cap-like, offset by deep constriction, 25-30% of body diam. at neck base.
Amphid fovea funnel-like, aperture 48-58% of lip region diam.
Cheilostom much longer than wide, with relatively slender walls ending in inner perioral thickenings.
Odontostyle cylindrical, 1.6-1.9 times lip region diam., aperture 4.0-4.5 Î¼m long, occupying 13-16% of odontostyle length. Guiding ring simple, delicate.
Odontophore rod-like, about 0.8-0.9 times odontostyle length.
Esophagus with weakly muscular anterior region gradually enlarging to a basal expansion that is 7.5-8.7 times as long as wide and 52-54% of esophgus length.
Caudal region short and rounded, with abundant radial refractive elements and a nearly terminal projection of inner cuticle layer reaching outer layer.

.	Female: Genital system didelphic-amphidelphic, with both ovaries equally developed, reflexed, a distinct muscular sphincter separating oviduct and simple, tobe-like uterus. Vagina extending inwards48-57% of body diam., pars proximalis 25-29 Ã— 16-20 Î¼m and surrounded by weak circular musculature, pars refringens of two, very small, triangular sclerotised pieces Vulva a longitudinal, elliptical opening 3 Î¼m long. Prerectum 1.7-3.5 and rectum 0.7-0.8 anal body diam. long. Two pairs of caudal pores, at middle of tail, one sublateral, one subdorsal
Males: Smaller general size than female. Genital system diorchic, with opposed testes. Spicules robust, 5.4-6.4 times longer than wide and 1.8-2.3 times longer than body diam. at cloacal aperture. Lateral guiding piece 12-16 Î¼m long, with strongly bifid terminus. Supplements an adcloacal pair, and a series of 7-10 ventromedian supplements, 20-37 Î¼m apart. .
