Morphology and Anatomy:

Although Pingus and Paragendria are similar, they have mostly been considered valid (Chabaud 1978, Soota 1983, Sood 1989; Moravec et al., 2008).

Distribution:

Intestinal parasites of the freshwater fish. Many of the species are described from catfishes in India, Bangladesh and China (Moravec et al., 2008).
