Morphology and Anatomy:

 
Megalobatrachonema nipponicum Male anterior.

Males:
 

  •  Single pseudosucker present, weakly developed
  • Ten pairs of caudal papillae
  • Spicules alate, pointed,
  • Gubernaculum sclerotized, knife-like,
  • Tail tapering, 679-861 um long

Female:  

  •  Vulva not swollen, located variably about mid body
  • Tail tapering, about 1 mm long.
