Morphology and Anatomy:

 
  • Body slender, tapering towards extremities

  • Head set off near cephalic setae.

  • Cephalic sensilla organs in three circles: six inner labial papillae, six outer labial setae  and four cephalic setae (5 um).

  • Stoma with 12 rugae

  • Buccal cavity lightly sclerotized.

  • Amphideal fovea small, circular with postero-dorsal interruption, 6 um diam, more than one head diam. from anterior.

  •   Buccal cavity slightly sclerotized with one dorsal tooth and two ventrosublateral teeth, almost equal in size.

  • Pharynx anteriorly surrounding buccal cavity, posteriorly dilated to a pyriform bulb.

  • Tail conical without terminal setae, 3.8-4 a.b.d. long. Caudal glands prominent.

 

 

Female:

  • Not found

Male:

  • Spicules curved, 35 um long, with prominent hooked capitulum.
  • Gubernaculum 20 um long, without apophysis.
  • Precloacal supplements not seen

Distribution:

Described from East China Sea in sublittoral sediment.
