Distribution:

Collected from the small and large intestine of Reeve's muntjac (Muntiacus reevesi) on Izu-Oshima Island, Tokyo, Japan. Genus also reported from Indian muntjac (Muntiacus muntjac) in nothern Vietnam water chevrotain (Hyemoschus aquaticus) in Gabon, west Africa.
