Characteristics of type species:
Long and slender,
First annule small, swollen, offset from second annule by deep constriction; second annule enlarged.
Lateral alae absent.
Pharynx with corpus clavate and a slight posterior pseudobulb
Nerve ring situated at mid-corpus. Excretory pore located just anterior to mid-corpus
Intestine with anterior dilation but without distinct cardia.
Relatively robust, subulate tail.

Monodelphic, vulva near mid-body region.
Vagina directed anteriorly, with one spermatheca
Oval eggs flattened at the pole

Described from burrowing cockroaches in Australia. Reported from hosts Geoscapheus dilatatus in New South Wales and Macropanesthia rothi in Queensland.
