Morphology and Anatomy:

.

Females:

  • Didelphic, amphidelphic; two spermathecae.
  •  Vulva located at mid-body region. Vagina short, posteriorly directed, leading into long uterine part, eventually branching into two.
  • Anterior uterus short, directed anteriorly, reflexing posteriorly and leading to ovary just anterior to vulva.
  • Anterior ovary directed anteriorly, doubly reflexed near base of intestinal cardia, proceeding posteriorly and terminating at cap cell near mid-body.
  •  Posterior uterus long, reflexed several times, leading to ovary in posterior third of body. Posterior ovary multiple reflexed, terminating at cap cell posterior to mid-body.
  • Eggs oval, asymmetric, distinctly angular on one side.
