Parasites of respiratory systems of pigs.

• Buccal capsule vestigial
• Mouth opening with two large lateral trilobed lips
• Female with vulva in posterior region of body; oviparous; eggs with thick shells with sculptured surface
• Male bursa with large lateral lobes and reduced dorsal lobe

Eggs rather than first-stage larvae are passed in feces of the definitive host; earthworms are required intermediate hosts (Anderson 2000)
