                 A family of nematodes that are parasites of a wide range of vertebrate hosts, including reptiles (lizards and geckos), amphibians and fish

• Relationships between the genera of occurring in fish and the rest of the family are unresolved. Those parasitizing lizards and amphibians show clearer links (Adamson, 1994).
