Damage:

Elevated, rounded purple- to brown-colored galls on stems, leaf sheaths and leaves.
Leaves may be distorted when there are abundant galls.
Some galls are efilled with a yellow bacterial mass.
  Photographs of galls induced by Anguina woodi on stems, leaf sheaths and leaves of Ehrharta villosa var. villosa.
