As of 2017, the type and only species of the genus Carphodorus.

Morphology and Anatomy:

Oral disc rounded. Reported to have 2 ioncisures in the lateral field as indicated by the species name.  However, elswhere it is described as having 4 incisures with the center two most distinct (Geraert, 2011)

 

Female:

Length about 1 mm with a very long stylet (90-97 µm).

Pharyngeal glands overlap intestine laterally and latero-dorsally.

Diovarial, amphidelphic, V=50-57%.

Male:.

Length about 1 mm. stylet length 70-83 µm.

Bursa well-developed, enveloping tail.

Distribution:

Described from Eucalyptus andrewsii in Queensland, Australia by Colbran (1956). Reported from natural vegetation in New South Wales. Australia by Stirling et al., (2013).
