Morphology and Anatomy:

 

Female:

Median bulb well-developed.  

Excretory pore at level of anterior of isthmus

Basal esophageal bulb elongate-pyriform. Not overlapping intestine. .  

Ovaries paired, outstretched, spermathecae present.

Tail narrowing abruptly then elongate conoid.    

Male: Similar to female.

Spicules slightly arcuate, gubernaculum with distal reflexed hook.

Males have unique caudal alae, well-developed. Tail tip bifurcate.

Recorded from sandy soil around roots of cork oak (Quercus suber L.) from Hato Raton, Aznalcazar (Seville), southern Spain
