    Morphology and Anatomy:

    .

    • Body small-sized (less than 1 mm long), distinctly striated.

    • Lateral fields with 4 distinct incisures.

    •  Lip region low, flattened, with moderate to indistinct annulation; framework hexaradiate, lightly sclerotized.

    • Stylet well dweveloped,  about 10 um long, with rounded knobs.

    • Median bulb oval, valvate.

    • Sub-ventral esophageal glands forming a pseudobulb at base of esophagus but the dorsal gland lobelike and extends over intestine laterally

    • Amphids are longitudinal slits.

    • Deirids present near excretory pore.

    • Tail in both sexes elongate-conoid, straight to arcuat

     

    Female:  

    • Prodelphic monodelphic. Vulva at 70-80% of body length

    • Ovary outstretched; oocytes in one/two rows.

    • Spermatheca short, rounded, containing sperm.

    • Columned uterus with four rows of four cells.

    • Post-uterine sac (PUS) present.  

    • Mature females not swollen.

    Males:  

    • Testis without flexures.
    • Spicules slender, arcuate, cephalated but not prominently expanded anteriorly.
    •  Gubernaculum small, trough-shaped, fixed.
    • Caudal alae leptoderan, short, adanal. 
    • Sperm cells small, with little cytoplasm.
