Morphology and Anatomy:

The synlophe, a system of longitudinal cuticular ridges characteristic of some Graphinema species. Some speciers are characterized by a tapering pattern of ridges in the lateral region of the cervical zone (anterior to the esophageal-intestinal junction). That pattern is fairly consistent among male and female specimens. In contrast, the synlophe pattern is parallel in Graphinema meyeri (??) the lateral pattern is parallel.
