Tenunemellus tenuis (Corbett, 1964) Siddiqi, 1986
Type species of tthe genus.
Corbett (1964) described two species from Malawi; Ecphyadophoroides annulatus is the type species of Ecphyadophoroides while E. tenuis was erected by Siddiqi (1986) as the type species of the new genus Tenunemellus. It became Tenunemellus tenuis (Corbett, 1964) Siddiqi, 1986.

Key to the Family Tylenchidae
Described from seasonally waterlogged brassland (Fimbristylis sp.) near Zomba Mountain, Malawi.
Unknown. Based on stylet length and esophageal configuration, probably an ectoparasite of epidermal cells and root hair cells and/or of hyphae.
