Morphology and Anatomy:

• Cuticular dots/punctations absent.
• Buccal cavity without teeth
• Posterior pharyngeal bulb.present
• Species distinguished mainly by form of labial sensilla, shape of gubernaculum and size of amphids

Distribution:

Most Paralongicyatholaimus species whave been described from the Continental Shelf of the Temperate Northern Atlantic. Some are reported more widely (Cunha, 2023).
