Morphology and Anatomy:

Described from male specimens.

 

Females:

   


   

Males:  

  •  Testes paired and opposed.
  • Spicules paired, equal in length, curved and cuticularized (37.5 um long) with cental cuticularized strip.
  • Gubernaculum paired and almost as long as spicules, expanding into a triangular plate at the distal end.
  •  Six precloacal tubular supplements; anteriormost 105.5 um from cloaca; two small posterior tubuli close to each other near to the cloaca.
  • Caudal gland not observed.
  • Tail conical (2.55 x cloacal body diam).

Distribution:

Free-living marine nematodes described from sediment samples from a small intertidal sandy-rocky beach at Tanjung Tajam at the westernmost corner of Pulau Ubin in the East Johor Strait, Singapore.
