Morphology and Anatomy:

• Swollen anterior body region 18-26% of total body length.
• Head capsule present
• Body cuticle smooth or with lateral field
• Usually eight cephalic adhesion tubes  located on cephalic capsule, rarely 10 to 15.
• Amphids lateral, usually loop-shaped, with branches usually of unequal length, rarely spiral.
• Buccal cavity narrow, without teeth
• Pharynx cylindrical dumbbell-shaped end bulb with lumen wall not thickened.
•  Precloacal copulatory thorns usually absent.
• Posterior adhesion tubes usually all anterior to cloacal opening; usually extending posterior to anus in females.
• Paravulvar setae may be present\\
