Morphology and Anatomy:

Characteristics of the genus:

• Body typical Draconema-shaped,  pharyngeal region strongly swollen
• Head capsule with thin-walled anterior collar-like portion and thickened main region with reticular subcuticle.
• Twelve CAT (cephalic adhesion tubes) located dorsally on head capsule and arranged in two transverse rows of six longitudinal tubes each
• Amphid similar in males and females with pore-like opening and an inner longitudinal tubular fovea; laterodorsal on head capsule.
• A transverse circle of well-developed papillate cuticular protrusions near anterior of head capsule in all stages but number of protrusions variable among stages.
• Buccal cavity narrow, without teeth
• All PAT (posterior adhesion tubes) with well marked bell-shaped end and tongue-like inner structure; situated precloacally. PAT arranged in four longitudinal rows: two sublateral and two subventral rows with an almost equal number (13–20) of adhesion tubes. PAT becoming slightly shorter caudally.

Free-living marine nematodes. Type species decribed from subtidal sediments in Jejudo, Korea.
