Morphology and Anatomy:

Aetholaimidae Jairajpuri, 1965

• Body length 1.3-1.9 mm.
• Cuticle finely striated
• Labial region discoid
• Stoma actinolaimoid, bowl-shaped anterior vestibule with sclerotized thickenings and a posterior chamber with six sclerotized ribs.
• Spear-like mural tooth.
• Basal section of esophagus covered by a thin sheath.
• Female genital system diovarial, amphidelphic, ovaries reflexed; vulva a transverse slit.
• Males unknown.
