Morphology and Anatomy:

  • Body o.6-2.0 mm long
  • Labial framework sclerotized, collaret present
  • Amphids wide
  • Tails differ between sexes
  • Male:

    • 3-9 well-spaced ventromedian supplements
    • Tail short, hemispherical or conoid-rounded

    Female:

    • Monodelphic-opisthodelphic, with or without anterior uterine sac
    • Tail attenuated to filiform
