Morphology and Anatomy:

Female:

Male:

Andrassy (2009) noted that the genus is very similar in both general morphology and habitat to that of Thorneella, the main difference being that the male of Sphaeroamphis has a few supplements. He questioned whether they might be considered the same genus.
