Malekus and Oriverutus both
have distinctly protruding papillae in the lip region and a comparatively
long odontostyle. They differ in the morphology of lips (amalgamated in
Malekus versus separate in Oriverutus), morphology of the
odontostyle (versus much slender, needle-like), and in having a double
guiding ring.
- Small to medium length around 0.7 mm.
- Cephalic region slightly offset, lips withprominent
forwardly-directed papillae
- Odontostyle long, extremely slender, , longer than width of lip
region.
- Tail conical, bent ventrally
Female:
- Didelphic-amphidelphic.
- Vulva not sclerotized
