Nordiidae
Thornedia was considered by Siddiqi (2007) to be a subgenus of Longidorella. However, Andrassy (2009) considered that the conoid head, amalgamated lips and subcylindroid tail were sufficient to distinguish it from Longidorella.

Possibly plant feeding as in other genera of the Nordiidae; may be omnivores (Yeates et al., 1993)
