Known from three localities in North America: the shore of Lake Mary near to Brighton, Utah, where it was associated with sod at an elevation of ca 2740 m a.s.l.; Blacks Fork, Summit County, Utah, USA, in wet soil in a a mountain park; and Wrangell, AK, USA, in soil about grass and weeds.
Labronema and other Labronematinae designated omnivore-predator by Yeates et al (1993).
