Morphology and Anatomy:

  • Small-sized nematodes, less than 1mm long.
  • Cuticle thin, finely striated
  • Lip region offset from body contour by a constriction.
  • Lips and papillae distinct.
  • Stoma wide, walls not sclerotized.
  • Odontostyle with wide lumen; aperture more than half its length.
  • Odontophore with wide lumen.
  • Guiding ring simple, large.
  • Esophagus muscular, widening behind middle.
  • Tail conoid to a rounded terminus.

Female:

  • Female monovarial, opisthodelphic.
  • Vulva small, pore-like.

Male:

  • Unknown
