Morphology and Anatomy:

Female:  

  • Didelphic- amphidelphic,
  • Vulva pore-like. Vagina extending inwards about 8.0-9.5 um, occupying about 30-38% of corresponding body diameter. Pars proximalis vaginae spheroid, 5.0-6.0 × 2.0-2.5 um, encircled by circular muscles; pars refringens vaginae absent; pars distalis vaginae with curved walls,
  • Prerectum 2 x abd; rectum 1 x abd lng.
  • Tail rounded-conoid, about as long as abd., its ventral side almost straight.
  • Caudal pores two, subdirsal

Males:  

Not found; no sperm in female genital tract

Distribution:

Originall described by Heyns (1963) from South Africa. Redescribed by Imam and Ahmad (2019) from soil around the roots of natural vegetation, Sao Jorge, Santiago, Cabo Verde; 15°0′49.212″N 24°25′37.7436″W.
