Morphology and Anatomy:

The genus Paractolaimus differs from Afractinolaimus Andrassy, 1970, which has a similar stomal structure, in the arrangement of the supplements: they are grouped in two fascicles in Afractolaimus.

Female:  

  • Didelphic-amphidelphic
  • Vulva longitudinal or transverse with sclerotized inner lips
  • Tail elongate to filiform.

Males:

  • Spicules dorylaimoid
  • Ventro-median supplements arranged in a series.
  • Tail bluntly rounded.
