Actinca Andrássy, 1964
Type species of the genus: Actinca gracillima Andrassy, 1964
Nematodes in the genus Actinca (and in the subfamily Brittonematinae of the Actinolaimidae) are cosidered to have a triprtite esophagus which consists of a very long (nonmuscular) section, a short, more msucular, middle section that tapers into an enlarged posterior region (Commans and Loof, 1986)..
Actinca and Afractinca are closely related genera with a few relaible distinguishing characters:
