Morphology and Anatomy:

 

 

 

.

  • Cuticle thick with prominent longitudinal ridges.
  • Lip region offset by shallow depression, abdout 2.5 x as wide as high.
  • Odontostyle length about 1.8 x width of lip region; the aperture occupies one-third of the length.
  • Odontophore weak, poorly developed.
  • Enlarged part of esophagus about 50% of total length.


Female:
 

  • Dioavrial, amphidelphic.
  • Vulva a longitudinal slit.
  • Female tail elongate conoid with pointed tip and two pairs of caudal pores.

Males:

  • Paired testes, long vas deferens.
  • Spicules slender, arcuate.
  • Supplements: an adanal pair and 14-18 ventromedian supplements arranged in two fascicles
  • Male tail short, dorsally convex-conoid, slightly less than one anal body width long; with 7-12 caudal pores.
