Scapidens Heyns, 1965
Refer to the subfamily Sectonematinae for a discussion of the placement of the Sectonematinae subfamily in the Aporcelaimidae rather than the Nygolaimidae.
Scapidens strongly resembles Nygolaimium but is distinguished by the lack of a denticle region of the stoma and lack of a cardia disk (Andrassy, 2009).
