Morphology and Anatomy:

• Body length 0.9-2.8 mm
• Cuticle smooth or finely striated.
• Lateral chords with pores and glands.
• Labial region strongly offset from body contour.
• Stoma with vestibule chamber which has 16-50 arched ribs and small denticles.
• Odontostyle shorter than lip width with aperture about half its length.
• Female genital system diovarial, amphidelphic; vulva not sclerotized, may be transverse or longitudinal.
• Males very rare.  Have 7 to 20 ventromedian supplements, spaced apart.
• Tail similar in both sexes, short conoid-rounded or bluntly rounded.
