Type species of the genus: Caryboca paranaensis Lordello, 1967

Morphology and Anatomy:

• Body length 1.0-1.8 mm
• Cuticle msooth
• Lateral chords with a series of lateral glands
• Head broad, strongly offset from body contour.
• Labial basket sclerotized with long teeth at the bottom
• Oral tubewith or without denticulated walls
• Odontostyle of simple
• Female genital system diovarial, amphidelphic; vulva a transverse slit, not sclerotized.
• Males unknown for the genus
• Tail conoid, ventrally curved.
