Travassosnema Costa, Moreira, & Oliveira, 1991

A genus of parasites of  fish.

Note the almost imperceptibly small difference between the spelling of this genus name and that of Travassosinema in the Travassosinematidae, a family of pinworm parasites of insects, primarily mole crickets.(a rule about avoiding the confuion caused by name similarity would be helpful!)
