Type species of the genus: Viguiera euryoptera Seurat, 1913
Synonyms:
Viguiera spp. are parasites of birds; reported from bird gizzards. Speies of this nematodes have a wide host range, occurring widely among three speciesa of Hawaiian honeycreepers Cid et al., 1985).
