Described from Pacific harbor seals, Tomales Bay, California, USA.
Filaroid parasites of the mucosa of lung parenhyma and alveoli of the Pacific harbor seal (Phoca vitulina).
Intermediate hosts are probably fish although life cycle not well known (Dailey, 2006).
