Morphology and Anatomy:

• Small nematodes; cuticle with fine, regular, transverse annulations. Small cephalic collar with 4 submedian papillae and 2 amphids in projections.
• Triangular projectons on dorsal and subvental on dorsoventrally elongate mouth opening.
• Buccal capsule with thick, sclerotized walls
• Esophagus elongate; corpus cylindrical, without ornamentation of lining; isthmus short; bulb elongate, clavate; nerve-ring surrounding anterior of corpus; excretory; deirid anterior to nerve-ring.

Male;

• Bursa with lobes distinct; ventral lobes of each side joined ventrally; dorsal lobe as long as or longer than lateral lobes; internal surface of bursa
  rugose, without sclerotised bosses.. Ventro-ventral and ventro-lateral rays slender, apposed, reach margin of bursa; externo-lateral ray divergent from lateral trunk (greater detail in drawing and Chilton et al., 2002).
• Genital cone with large, conical anterior lip with terminal papilla; posterior lip smaller, reniform, with paired, bilobed appendages.
• Spicules simple; anterior extremity knobbed; distal tip blunt; spicule ala with transverse striations.
• Gubernaculum absent

Female: Tail short Vulva immediately anterior to anus. Ovejector J-shaped. Eggs ellipsoidal. Ref: Chilton et al., 2002

Distribution:

Described and reported from the stomach of wallabies and wallarros in Australia (Beveridge et al., 1989; Beveridge et al., 1998; Spratt et al., 1991).
