A nematode family tht includes fish parasites with fish lice (carp lice, Argulus sp. - crustacean parasites of fish) as intermediate hosts of some taxa.

Approximately 20% of two species of Argulus from the Caspian Sea were found with juveniles of Skrjabillanidae. In laboratory studies, the fish life were shown to be intermedaite hosts for the nematodes (Tikhomirova, 1983).

Somewhat restricted Palearctic distribution (Aragort et al., 2002).
