Tubolaimoididae Lorenzen, 1961
A family of free-living marine nematodes.
Features:
Cuticle smooth or striated, no lateral alae no ornamentation.
Cephalic capsule absent, three lips.
Inner labial papillae grouped in pairs.
Outer labial and cephalic sensilla setiform, in separate circles
Amphid ventrally spiral, unispiral or inverted.
Stoma undifferentiated, dorsal and subventral esophageal gland open into stoma.
Female didelphic, ovaries reflexed.
Male diorchic testes outstretched, supplements absent or papilliform.
Caudal glands present, spinneret present.
