Morphology and Anatomy:

Body about 1 mm long.  

Lip region low and flattened.  SEM shows face view with labial disc and first labial annule fused together.

Rounded amphid apertures often conspicuous.  

Stylet 11 to 25 µm long, robust or with needle-like cone.  

Labial framework thin, weakly sclerotized, with wide basal ring. 

Metacorpus fusiform.  

Lateral field with three or four lines. 

Female:  tail conoid, pointed, medium to long  (c' = 3 to 8).  

Deirids absent.  

Male:  caudal alae sometimes tri-lobed.
