Morphology and Anatomy:

.

Females: Lemon-shaped cysts, orange to brown when mature. Vulval cone protruding slightly, circumfenestrate, abullate.

Cyst in anterior region marked with weak longitudinal ridges and transverse rows of punctations.

Produce large gelatinous egg mass with numerous eggs; eggs also retained in cyst.

Males: Length variable. Lip region rounded, slightly offset, 3 lip annules.

Stylet knobs rounded

 

Second-stage juveniles: Generally typical of Heteroderidae.

Lateral field with four lines.

Esophageal glands in a single lobe.

Tail pointed. 

Phasmids minute.
