Morphology and Anatomy:

Long worms with marked sexual dimorphism in tail.

Female:   Length 4.9-5.4 mm.

Odontostyle very small, 6-7µm long; odontophore 23-26µm.

Gonads paired, opposed and reflexed. 

Spermatheca filled with spindle-shaped sperm 7-8um long Female tail filamentous, 352-425um long

 

Males:   Length 4.2 mm with short, rounded tail.

Distribution:

Freshwater nematodes.  For example, from St. Lawrence River bottom near Montreal, Canada (Ebsary, 1984).
