Morphology and Anatomy:

.

Female:

  • Body spiral to C-shaped, medium sized.  
  • Lip region slightly offset or continuous with body, without striation
  • Stylet medium sized; stylet knobs flattened to indented anteriorly.  
  • Dorsal esophageal gland opening about 5um from stylet base.  
  • Esophageal glands with three nuclei, overlap intestine dorsally
  • Two genital branches outstretched, equally developed. 
  • Vulva 53-58%; Epitygma double 
  • Lateral field with two incisures. 
  • Tail short, rounded with 6-10 annules 
  • Phasmids enlarged to scutella situated in lateral field in posterior part of body, not opposite each other,

Male:

  • Caudal alae enveloping tail
  • Esophageal structures smaller in males than in females
